Born in San Francisco and lived in the Bay Area. In 2003, I moved to Healdsburg, California in Sonoma County.

I have always appreciated nature and the outdoors. I've enjoed the liberating process of Plein-air painting outdoors from nature. With the changing light, movement and weather, I'm learning to paint quickly with a sense of spontaneity,

Direct observation has proven to be my rewarding way to work and learn. Nature is my teacher. I paint in acrylics and oil.
